On Thursday 25th October, a welcome rainy afternoon Country Comfort Coonabarabran had the absolute pleasure of holding the annual luncheon for the Coonabarabran Carers.

It was a historic event though. The Coonabarabran Carers have been in operation for the last 10 years, and we have been serving the annual lunch for seven of those 10 years. It is with regret though, that the group has decided to fold and Thursday was the final luncheon at the Country Comfort.

For those not aware, Carers are usually family members who provide support to children or adults who have a disability, mental illness, chronic condition or who are frail aged. Carers can be parents, partners, brothers, sisters, friends or children.

Ray, Steven & Liz have been with them for seven years and was with them again on Thursday and wish each every member, (or as we like to think part of the family) the very best and
